The hotel is close to the traditional white villages of Canillas de Albaida and Competa in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara in Southern Spain. There are sweeping views of the valley which can be seen from their beautiful terraces. The Finca makes a great base for walking and painting holidays and for other activities such as writing however more people come to just enjoy the peace of the swimming pool and gardens and to work their way through the well stocked library!

La Madrugada is a small and comfortable Bed and Breakfast in sunny Andalusia. The B&B is located in the quiet rural outskirts of the charming white village of Cómpeta (3,5 km), situated in the foothills of the Tejeda mountain range. It is easy to reach by tarmac road, only one hour’s drive from the international airport of Malaga (Costa del Sol). The accommodation is a characteristic white Andalusian villa, situated in an area of vineyards, olive groves and a variety of tropical fruit trees. We have a private seasonal pool of 8 x 4 m.
