We launched cyclemalaga at the start of April 2018. We had some friends that were looking for bike hire in Puente don Manuel whilst they were here for a weekend break. They arrived on Thursday evening and their return flight was Sunday evening. They caught a taxi from Malaga Airport, and arrived at their holiday apartment at 5pm Thursday evening. The options they had to collect the bike were the following, call a taxi and hope the taxi driver spoke English and ask him to take them to the local Bike Hire Shop or catch a bus to the coast and then find the shop. Neither option was ideal, and both options wasted a big chunk of the valuable holiday time. None of this takes into account that they had to do all this again to return the bike, and if that was not bad enough they couldn’t return the bike on a Sunday as the Bike Hire Shop was closed. This senario has been repeated to us by clients that were looking to rent a race bike in El Morche and other clients that wanted to Rent a mountain bike in Torrox.
